It’s been awhile since I’ve posted.  I’ve come to the conclusion that, whether I actually make time to sit down and churn out a blog entry or spend the time with my wife, friends, & loved ones, it’s all good!

Words may not be recorded on a page that one can refer back to later in order to edit & make corrections, but the experiences, actions, words, and motives are always read and recorded in someone’s memory (even if it’s only God’s and my own)! These experiences (“words” as I’ll refer to them henceforth) inevitably ripple through the currents of life, effecting change (for good or ill) in ways unfathomable to all but God alone.

It behooves me then to choose my words with care, knowing they will endure eternally and thus adorn or degrade the everlasting estate of my brother, my sister; in deed all mankind! Is it any wonder then that sctripture instructs us that:

“Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.”
- Proverbs 16:24

“The words of a man’s mouth are deep waters; the fountain of wisdom is a bubbling brook. “
- Proverbs 18:4

“Do you see a man who is hasty in his words? There is more hope for a fool than for him. “
- Proverbs 29:20

And…

“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”
- Proverbs 4:23

Oh I’m quite certain if I were to pay more heed to even just these few morsels of wisdom the entire world would be a much better place!
